Daily Prayer – Matthew 12:31
Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
Daily Prayer
Oh Lord, we hear and feel the air of disappointment, discouragement and darkness all around us. We come to You in Jesus’ Name and we ask forgiveness. Forgive us when we choose judgement instead of mercy, when we choose competition and jealousy instead of harmony, when we choose greed instead of charity. Forgive us for our selfish ambitions and arrogant pride. We have been caught up in the air with the wrong entity, the enemy of our souls.
Lord, You have come to give us life and abundant life at that. Help us to mourn with those who mourn, to weep with those who weep and then come together in Jesus’ Name to stand in faith and grace. You are able with the touch of Your finger, to wipe away death and destruction. Your mercy is greater than judgment, for Your Word says so. But at the same time, You require justice and desire for us to deal mercifully with one another.
May we live in abundant peace with You and with one another in Jesus’ Great Name. Forever You reign. Forever we are Yours. Deal with us according to Your great mercy, Lord for we surrender it all at the foot of the cross, where Your Son gave His life for us. Amen.
Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Matthew 12:31
