But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.
Daily Prayer
Oh Lord, we come to You today and ask for a fresh anointing of Your Spirit, of Your Presence and of Your joy. How we need You. We grow weary of the noise, evil and chaos that surrounds us, but we know Your Spirit is doing a great work. Help us not to lose heart as our senses take in the things of the world.
May we keep our focus on You and the victories You bring us every day. The ongoing victories You win for us tend to get pushed behind the noise of the world. Drown out the noise, Lord. Help us hear Your still small voice. Thank You for a fresh anointing so we can hear Your voice over the enemy’s noise.
Your fresh anointing separates us out of the world and brings us closer to You. Your fresh anointing brings us clarity in our minds. Your fresh anointing heals us from our old wounds–spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially. Thank You, Lord Jesus for saturating us with Your oil, the Holy Spirit of God. Amen and amen.
