Thank You, Father, for calling us to a special anointing, for choosing us to be a royal priesthood for You. There is no greater honor than proclaiming the praises of Him Who has called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. Jesus Christ, the Bright and Morning Star is the One to Whom we owe our lives, our every breath and every work. Thank You for finding Your way into the darkness, which has prohibited us from operating in the fullness of our calling. Thank You for penetrating the deepest, darkest places of our hearts with the gentle light of Your truth. The truth probes and exposes the pain, so healing can spring forth as the darkness flees.

Thank You, Lord, for not giving up on us. Thank You for including and gathering the least of these, for we are all in that category in one form or another. The magnitude of Your grace is more than we can comprehend, but please give us the courage and strength to reach out and grab hold of it, as we seek Your face. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on You—the Light and Life, as a bride running to her Groom, leaving our cares and concerns behind us forever as Your love fills in all the empty places. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
