Lord, thank You for reminding us in the temporary joy of victory and in the temporary pain of disappointment that we should value the person over their work or performance. We all win when the love of Jesus Christ breaks through.

Thank You for showing up and showing off. It’s Your glory that matters, not ours. May Your mercy flow unhindered to us and through us all. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
