Daily Prayer – James 2:4-5
James 2:4-5 have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts? 5 Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?
Daily Prayer
Father God, please forgive us for judging one another, when You alone are the Righteous Judge. We are deceived and blinded to the truth in other people’s hearts because we do not see the truth in our own. Lord, as Your bride and people, we recuse ourselves from being judge and surrender that job to its rightful place–the throne of God.
Thank You for Your mercy, kindness and patience toward us. Forgive us as a nation, all tribes and heritages who fear Your Name. Please release us from the trap and prison of judgement that we have fallen into and give our hearts eyes to see the freedom of Your love as You rise to Your rightful reign in and through us.
May the devil and all his schemes be pushed out of our hearts, our lives and our nation forever, so we can be clean and pure in the arms of mercy (1 John 4:18). You are the light of the world. Save us, Lord. In Jesus Name, amen.
