Daily Prayer – Psalm 27:10
For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the Lord will take me in.
Daily Prayer
Verse of the Day
Dear Lord, may this season be a time for us to seek Your face, not just Your hand; to seek a deeper connection with You, and not just things. Thank You for gently uprooting us from the temporal things of this world so that we can be rooted in the deeper purpose for which You created us. Though it may be painful for a time, the reward is rich and lasting because we are grounded in You.
There is no greater peace and satisfaction than to be grafted into the righteousness of Your Kingdom, which is Christ Jesus. Thank You for the cross, Lord. Thank You for giving up Your life so that we could find real life in You. Your very name is life, for the lifeblood flows from You to us, when we choose to receive it.
Thank You for helping us to receive more of You, more of life and healing, more of the things of the Kingdom where there is abundance–abundant life, abundant joy, abundant peace and abundant love. You are love, and we love You. Thank You, Father God for the greatest gift of all. In Jesus’ Great Name we pray. Amen.
