Isaiah 61:3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

Thank You, Lord that the cross was enough. It’s not about what we do or don’t do. It’s about what You have already done for us and in us. We always have access to You, for You never leave. You said in Your Word (Matthew 28:20) that You are with us always. Help us to believe this no matter how we feel. The pain of our past is washed away in You because You give us beauty for ashes. The spirit of heaviness has no place in us anymore because Your work is complete. Our mourning is turned to joy. Our rags are traded in for the garment of praise. Thank You for establishing us in You and Your righteousness, just like planting a tree in good soil where it can flourish. May we prosper in the righteousness of Your Kingdom, walking hand-in-hand with You forevermore. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
