Daily Prayer – Psalm 16:8-9
I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure.
Daily Prayer
Father God, thank You for gently removing the ashes of our past–the empty places that ring hollow in our memories and our minds. What the enemy meant for evil, You meant for good. We set You before us, so that we shall not be shaken. It is only in You that we are safe, secure and happy.
Establish us upon the Rock of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, so that we will no longer live in barrenness. Nourish our souls–our minds and emotions, and our bodies with Your Word, Your love and the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
