Mathew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Daily Prayer
Dear Lord, please help us to see You. We want to be pure in heart as You are. Lord Jesus, forgive us for trusting in the temporal instead of the eternal. You are Spirit and You are everlasting life. Nothing in this world–“healthy” food, medicine or vitamins–can deliver health and healing like You can. And money cannot save; it cannot heal and it cannot fulfill. Only You, Lord. It is the Spirit who gives life. (John 6:63)
When we trust in You instead of something or someone else, we forfeit the lust of the flesh and the devil’s presence and power in our hearts. Then our hearts are washed with the mercy, truth and grace of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 8:32 says, “He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”
Lord, help us to partake of all the gifts You freely give us with the remembrance of Who You are and what You have done for us. May we surrender to Your eternal love with heads bowed and eyes closed to the One Who made it all possible–the salvation of our souls and the resurrection and healing of our bodies.
You are health; You are life; You are the way. We trust You. Amen and amen.
