God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Daily Prayer
Lord, we know that You are good and Your love is better than life, as it says in Your Word. We have experienced the sweetness of Your love and kindness. So help us to stand fast in the truth when we don’t see, hear or feel Your love. When the winds of chaos, noise and sickness surround us on every side, help us to worship You in spirit and in truth, for You are Spirit and You are the Truth.
Help us to turn away from the noise of fear and doubt and cling to the One Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, so that we can be a reaper of Your harvest, so we can bear much fruit in Your Kingdom, so we can prosper here and now, so we can live the abundant life You came to give us together with You.
Help us not to get bogged down in the swirl of negative emotions. Instead may we cling to You and worship You in Spirit and in Truth. You are the way, the truth and the life. We thank You for our salvation and for newness of life in Jesus Christ. Amen.
