Daily Prayer – Isaiah 65:17

Daily Prayer

Oh Lord, we long for the new. Refresh us with Your Spirit. Lead us in fresh new ways. Renew our minds with Your hope and fresh calling. Lead us in the way everlasting.

Give us new perspective, renew our spirit with Yours. Give us fresh breath, new life, a new Word–help in new ways. Help us think differently, with a heavenly perspective and renewed sense of purpose. Help us to leave behind the old ways and habitual ways of thinking.

Help us get off the merry-go-round of pointless thinking, speaking and acting and refresh our  spirits with new life, fresh vision and courage to go forward unafraid. Cleanse our minds from the old as You impart new ways of thinking into our minds, so we can bear new fruit that is worthy of Your Kingdom.

You made us to do great things. You made us for relationship with You. Infuse our relationship with new love, kindness and purpose, Lord. May we be lifted up above the murk and mire from old thoughts and old ways that You are finished with. It is time for a new thing. We lift up our eyes to the hills from where our help comes, Lord…it’s You. Breathe new breath and life into us and help us to be with You, Lord Jesus.

And Lord, most importantly may the new love You give us be immediately lifted up to You, where it belongs. Amen and amen.
