Thanksgiving Day Prayer
Lord, help us to surrender the old so we can take hold of the new. We have so much to be thankful for, even in a season of loss. Help us to look to You through the radiance of truth, for through Jesus Christ we have abundance and no lack. In You is abundant life, where You adorn Your bride with the beauty of Your righteousness.
There is no death, darkness or loss in Christ Jesus and with our collective will, we choose to look to You through Your Perfect Son whom You gave to us (John 3:16). This is where we find strength, joy, true light and life. As we let go of the old, adorn us with Your radiant beauty.
Lord, come speedily to Your bride. Amen.
