Unlocking the Truth – Raised in Jesus Christ
The last part of Matthew 21:42 says, “this was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes.” Though Jesus was rejected, it was all part of God’s plan. He uses everything for good.
I heard a very important quote in church. “A smart man learns from his mistakes. A wise man learns from others’ mistakes.”
God in His infinite wisdom and grace, gave us examples—examples we can use for our own life. We can learn from other people’s mistakes, so we don’t have to make so many of our own!
The Bible is full of examples. Our Lord is full of grace. The world is full of opportunities.
Jesus is still building today…within us. Just like a wall that is being raised to form a house, He promised to raise us up on the last day. John 6:40 says,
“For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
It will be His mercy, His righteousness, and His love that He has been building in us and among us that breaks free from the darkness to be lifted up to form that Heavenly City, the New Jerusalem. Amen!
