Daily Prayer – Psalm 139:13

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works,

Daily Prayer

Father, forgive us for we have not fully respected your creation of people. We have callously and arrogantly approached others with whatever authority we thought we had–in our professions, spiritual giftings or intellect–and failed them miserably because we did not recognize the awe and wonder of God’s majesty of creation upon them.

We have used others for our own selfish gain, hoarding the treasures of the world–covetousness. Father, forgive us for the evil in our hearts, for inflicting pain upon others inwardly and outwardly. We have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

Lord, help us to see Your glory in others. Thank You for the shed blood of Christ. Thank You for the blood applied. We repent and receive the covering of Your Son, Jesus Christ. In His Name we pray. Amen.
