Daily Prayer – Proverbs 3:1-2

Daily Prayer

Father God, thank You for revealing the truth in our hearts. When we are quick to accuse and condemn others, it is a fleshly and devilish attitude. It is pride that strives to compete and stay ahead of others. If we suppress someone else, we feel superior and can be satisfied with ourselves.

I confess that attitude and pride in my own heart, Lord and repent of it. Your Word says that when we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Thank You, Lord for Your forgiveness and mercy and even more than that, for placing righteousness in our hearts where there was darkness before.

As we confess the darkness, You replace it with Your light. In this way, we are cleansed and ready to put on the whole armor of God. Nothing can penetrate that armor of Light, which is You. Thank You for healing our hearts Lord, for from our hearts are the issues of life.

When our hearts are cleansed, Your righteousness can pour forth from them and bless others. Then we can truly walk in love, as You commanded in Your Word. It is this perfect love that casts out fear. Help us unite in agreement with the Light, Lord, for in You all things are possible. Amen and amen.
