Daily Prayer
Dear Lord, thank You for leading us on paths of righteousness for Your Name’s sake. Thank You for revealing the truth in our hearts, showing us where our trust really is. Where we have been dependent upon ourselves, we now rely upon You.
Our burdens become heavy under the weight of our self-sufficiency. But now Lord, we release our self-sufficiency to You. Where we have been dependent upon our own works Lord, we depend upon You. Where we have been dependent upon our food Lord, we depend upon You. Where we have been dependent upon other people Lord, we now trust in You.
May our roots grow deeply into the righteousness of Your Name. The work You accomplished upon the cross and the blood You shed for us is enough. Deliver us from the lies we have believed so we can walk in full awareness of Your love and Your reign upon the earth. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
