Daily Prayer – Isaiah 64:4

For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of one who waits for Him.

Daily Prayer

Lord, we invite You into our weaknesses, into our difficulties and our sicknesses. We are hopeless without You. We ask for Your Presence to come and settle into today. Pour Your lovingkindness on us. Strengthen our hearts and our resolve to wait on You.

Help us to be still and quiet as You take the reins to lead us into Your kingdom Your way. Thank You for cleaning up after us, for we have made a mess of things. Your mercy reaches to the heavens. Please go before us and prepare our future so that we can be together with You and one another in perfect harmony, the way You designed it.

We don’t have the answer, but we have Jesus Christ and we wait on Him. Have mercy and come quickly, Lord. Amen.
