Dear Lord, we choose to dwell in the secret place of the Most High. We abide under the shadow of the Almighty in Jesus Christ. We say of the Lord, “He is our refuge and our fortress; our God, in Him we trust.” We abide under the shadow of the cross where Your Son shed His blood and gave His life for us. Who are we to think we are anything of ourselves? It is You Who has done it. You alone. Thank You, Lord for your promise to come and rescue Your bride from the snare and the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. We put our hope and our trust in You, for You are our shield and buckler. We praise You for Your mercy. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
