I must perform my vows to you, O God; I will render thank offerings to you. 13 For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.

Oh Lord, our vows—all our work and activities–we choose to perform for You, O God, not for ourselves, our own needs or selfish ambitions anymore, but only for You. We understand that it is only by complete surrender to You that anything (or anyone) can get cleaned up and prepared for Your Kingdom.
Thank You for being so patient with us as we come to understand how to surrender to You—in our bodies and health, our habits and desires, our emotions and thoughts, and our relationships. Your victory can be permanently lived out through our lives when there is a heart change within us. And so today, we surrender our hearts to You, Father.
May we come to You in holy surrender to Your ways, Your timing and Your perfect will, Lord—not only for ourselves but also for those we love.
Your grace is sufficient for us all. Hallelujah! It’s in Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
