Daily Prayer

Oh Father, thank You for Your goodness, Your generosity, toward us. Thank You that You do not withhold any good thing from those who love You. It is us who stand in the way of Your mercy. For what mercy we have toward others, You extend toward us. You forgive us as we forgive others. You give to us as we give to others. The channel of love and blessings opens wider and wider as we are perfected in Your love, which means as we learn to love others. Help us to redirect our judgments, scorn, suspicions and expectations toward the cross, and not toward others any longer. You said, “For with what judgment we judge, we will be judged; and with the measure we use, it will be measured back to us (Matthew 7:2).

You offered up Your body on the cross to absorb every condemnation, accusation, judgment and suspicion that has been thrown at us and thrown by us. We accept Your generous gift, Lord Jesus, and we thank You for it. May everything that has breath praise the Lord! We praise You according to Your excellent greatness and for Your mighty acts. There are so many gifts You long to give us, if we only believe and surrender to Your leadership and Your sovereignty. We believe, Lord and we surrender to Your excellent greatness. Please go ahead of us and prepare the place where we can be intimately together with You (John 14:3). Help us to accept the promotion You planned for us, as we bow to You and ascend into Your Holy Hill. Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord Jesus. We love You and praise Your Mighty Name. Amen and amen!
