Psalm 30:5 (KJV) For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

…tangible good or resource to give that to someone. No matter how much or how little we have, we are rich in Jesus Christ. Let’s give out of the treasuries of His Kingdom within us.
So instead of looking at only our pocketbook this Christmas season, wondering how we’re going to create a pile of presents under the tree, let’s look into the riches of His grace and ask God what and how to give from the valuable treasures of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
2 Corinthians 9:10 says, “He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.”
Our desire to give comes from God, the ultimate Giver, and He supplies seed for the sower.
We might have experienced a season of what seemed like God’s anger, and we remember times of scarcity during certain times in our lives, but as Psalm 30:5 says:
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Bright and Beautiful Clearing
After a time of walking through a valley of darkness, it is so refreshing to experience a time of favor, to come to a bright and beautiful clearing where we have clarity–a sense of purpose and the favor of God.
That’s what King David is talking about in Psalm 30:5. He went through many valleys, running for his life, hiding in the shadows, living in the darkness. But then the time came when he was brought out of that darkness and into the favor God promised.
Hallelujah! God’s promises are true!
We know the joy of the morning because we experienced the weeping in the night. We recognize God’s promise being revealed in our lives, and we see Him in it.
We understand the light when we’ve been through the dark.
We receive His favor with joy and gratitude because we appreciate it. We recognize the value of it because of what we’ve been through, and it causes us to want to share it with others.
We want others to know God’s promises are true, that yes weeping endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning. What a wonderful gift to give—the joy of our heart. In fact, the joy of God’s heart!
And there is much more where that came from. Give the gift of the joy of the Lord and His saving grace this season, and be blessed as a cheerful giver in the Kingdom of God.
Study the Bible verse of Psalm 30:5, bask in the glow of God’s grace and favor, and share your joy with others.
