Psalm 30:5 (KJV)
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Bible Commentary
Psalm 30:5 is a popular Bible Verse where King David is rejoicing because of the unlimited mercies of God.
If you know God, then you know His mercy is great enough to save you from your sins. Jesus Christ on the cross is proof of that love, and those who have accepted His unfathomable gift walk in His saving grace every day.
However, there are many who do not know God. They have probably heard of Him, maybe even heard about Him, but who knows if what they heard was accurate?
What if their image of God is completely skewed?
That’s where we come in. Ahh, the glory and grace of God. He loved us. He pursued us. He saved us. And He walks with us every day. How great is His grace!
But oh, what about those who don’t know? They haven’t received His great love for them. They resist Him. They ignore Him. They are ignorant of the beautiful intimacy of a personal relationship with Him.
Unlocking the Truth – The Gift of Grace
As I’m writing this, it is Christmas time, the season of giving, the season of love and goodwill toward men. Our hearts are more compassionate during this season than any other time of year. When we hear and see stories of people in need receiving a helping hand from a total stranger, it touches our heart.
The giving spirit is contagious, and so it makes us want to give, too.
But what is it that we have to give? We might not have much money or any other kind of tangible resource. If we stop and think about it a moment, what is the most valuable gift we’ve ever been given?
The grace of God—salvation by faith in Jesus Christ!
