For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
Prayer
Lord, forgive us for our ignorance in mistaking pride for godly confidence. We are empowered in the gifts You have given us, but help us to surrender them to You for your glory. Help others to see You when they see us.
May it be your glory that rises and fills the air and not our own arrogance or selfishness. Help us to walk by the spirit and not the flesh so we are safe in You in Jesus’ Name, amen.
