Lord Jesus, help us reach beyond the dullness and emptiness of our hearts to Your perfect love. You are Love, and we long to be filled with the faithful and passionate love of a new bride toward her husband. You are our Husband, our Savior and Confidant, and You deserve our utmost respect and loyalty, but it is only by the power of Jesus Christ within us that we can be a faithful bride. May we hear the sounds of your mercy and grace, and turn away from the noise. Re-establish our hearts to Yours Lord, by the mercy of the cross, and fill in all the empty places with Your compassionate love. Restore our souls and fulfill the longing in our hearts, so that the longing in Your heart is also fulfilled. We need You; for without love, we are nothing. You are worthy to be praised, worthy to be pursued and worthy of all gifts and sacrifices. Thank You for giving Your life, so that we could live in holy matrimony with You, now and forever. Amen.
