Daily Prayer – Romans 12:11

Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for the opportunities to participate in the building and restoration process. The pressure points are where we can choose to release control and allow You entry. Sometimes our anger is nothing more than a fit of rage because we have no control in a situation and sometimes it’s because we’re trying vehemently to protect and defend someone that You already promised You would take care of.

Help us to relinquish control and our care of others to You. This is how we trust You and grow closer to you. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
