Daily Prayer – Psalm 40:2 (ESV)
He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.
Prayer
Thank you, Lord, for you always make a way out of the darkness, despair and depression. You are the light, our hope and our shield. In You is no darkness at all. Thank you for not letting go of our hand. You remind us that it is you alone and not people, who holds us up and rescues us from the pit of despair. Thank you for teaching us and delivering us, Lord. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
