Daily Prayer – Psalm 23:6

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Prayer

Lord, thank you for relieving us of the extra weight of burdens that we didn’t realize we were carrying–people and relationships from our past. You provide what we need today. We don’t have to grasp for relationships You have removed from our lives. It’s not our responsibility to keep something in the past alive when You have already replaced it with something new that is right in front of us and flourishing.

Help us to see You, Lord, and to release the burdens and weight of the past so we can receive the new thing You are doing in Jesus’ Name. Amen
