Daily Prayer – Proverbs 1:8-9

Hear, my son, your father’s instruction And do not forsake your mother’s teaching; Indeed, they are a graceful wreath to your head And ornaments about your neck.

Prayer

Father, thank You for opportunities to rest and not just rest, but to rejuvenate in your Presence. You watch over us even in our sleep. You sing over us and rejoice over us. How great is your love. Thank You for loved ones who listen, support and encourage us. Your provision goes far beyond the tangible.

Thank You for comforting memories of those who have gone before us and for hope in the future for those in our lives now and those who will come after us. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
