Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Prayer

Thank you, Lord, for teaching us to deepen our relationship with you before looking to others. In the midst of seeking You, our uncertainties and insecurities fade into the background. We become less concerned about what others think and instead rest in your Presence. Thank you for being pleased with who we are, what we look like, what we say and what we do because of Christ Jesus. Amen and amen.
