Daily Prayer – Isaiah 51:3 (NKJV)

For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the Lord; Joy and gladness will be found in it, Thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

Daily Prayer

Lord God, we pray tonight for a peaceful mind and a settled spirit. You accept us just the way we are right now, with all of our weaknesses, faults and fleshly behavior. Thank You for the blood of Jesus that transforms us into righteous standing before You. Only His blood can do that.

Have mercy on us, Lord. Help us to see You as You draw ever closer to us, in our relationships, our homes, workplaces and our nation. Thank You for gently removing what we don’t need and replacing it with more of You in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
