Daily Prayer – 1 Corinthians 16:23

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.

Prayer

Lord, when it feels like we’re trapped in our job or in an oppressive situation or environment, grant us strength and the peace that passes all understanding. In You, we are free. Help us to reach out by faith for the freedom You died to give us. We may not feel free, but we are. We may not look free, but in Christ Jesus we are.

Help us to stand still until your Spirit breaks through to the Light where your Presence waits for us. We know You are accomplishing so much on a grand scale. Help us, Lord and thank You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
