Bible Commentary
Isaiah 54:7 is a Bible verse from a beautiful chapter in the Old Testament where God is using the prophet, Isaiah, to proclaim comforting promises to the church.
There are times in our lives when we feel utterly hopeless, like God has forsaken us. Sometimes we feel fear looming over our heads like a dark shadow we can’t shake. The eye of the storm can be a very dark and lonely place, even if we know Christ as Saviour.
God says in Isaiah 54:7 that the darkness, or fear, is only for a brief moment. We may feel alone and suffer from deep despair, but He sees us and holds us in His hand (Isaiah 41:10), and gives us strength.
