Father, sometimes it is difficult to believe in the wonderful blessings You have promised us, when we see such hardship in the lives of Your people. Your Word says You have blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Father God, we stand in Jesus’ faith, in His strength and His endurance, for we have none on our own. We cling to You, Lord Jesus, when the storms come and we do not know what to do. You know all things and You fill all things. Even when we don’t see the realization of it, Lord, we believe Your Word. We believe Your promises. We believe You.

We remember the suffering and tragedy You went through when You went to the cross for us. Father God suffered the agony of watching His Only Son be tortured and crucified upon the cross. Father, You have put all things under Jesus’ feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Ephesians 1:22-23). Because You went through suffering and death for us, we choose to stand firm in the fullness of Your blessings and Your promises.

We don’t understand Your ways, but we choose to accept the abundant life You designed for us, and we accept the ways in which You bring it to us. We surrender to Your will, and to the Perfect Love of Your Heart. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
