Daily Prayer

Father, thank You for showing us the way of life, for opening up our eyes to the false gods in our lives so that we can forsake them and come running to You. Thank You for revealing the truth of Your love for us, showing us Who You really are, for helping us see and understand that You are our Creator, our Savior, our Friend and Confidant. There is none like You, O Lord.

Thank You for the cross, but thank You even more for the empty tomb and that Jesus arose and He lives! Because Jesus arose, we can also wake up from death to everlasting life, from dryness to nourishment, from empty to full, from wasted to replenished. Thank You for leading us out of the barren wasteland of idolatry to the fullness of Your house.

There are so many blessings of safety and provision in the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the way of faithfulness, the way of truth and the way of salvation. We praise You, Lord Jesus! Thank You for saving us and for leading us on the way of life, love and light. We put our trust under the shadow of Your wings, the only place where we can be safe and secure, at home with You.

Thank You for helping us see You, helping us trust You and helping us receive Your Perfect Love. Please help us reflect the Love Light of Your faithfulness out to the world, that others will see You when they look at us and absorb the gift of Your faithfulness, taking shelter under the shadow of Your wings, so that the longing of Your heart will be forever satisfied. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
