And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Daily Prayer
Dear Lord, we ask today that You help us acknowledge and recognize the power of the Holy Spirit living within us. We ask that the Holy Spirit would be the Supervisor of our heart’s desires and intents, and therefore the outflow of our words and actions. Teach us and lead us as we submit to Your authority, Lord.
This is a big “ask” because we know that in order for Your Holy Spirit to lead, we must step aside, wait and be still. Help us to strengthen our faith as we remember the times in the past where Your Spirit has taken care of our needs and our wants, for ourselves and our family. You are able.
We trust You to get in the lead and act–in our health, in our relationship with You and with one another, in our work and in our finances. You are a big God, far beyond our comprehension to see or understand. And yet with the Holy Spirit, You grant us access to an intimate and harmonious relationship with You and with others. We praise Your Name, Lord Jesus. Amen and amen.
