Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
Prayer
Lord, sometimes victory does not look like victory. It is sometimes masked in what feels like loss, but you reveal it to us in your time and in your pleasure. Thank you, Father, for treats and surprises. We can accept the gift now before it materializes. As we thank you for it, we receive it in the spiritual and our souls are nourished. Then when it materializes in the physical, what an exceeding joy. Thank you for conquering death. Your blood covers it all. Praises to you, Lord Jesus! Amen.
