Daily Prayer – Ephesians 5:22

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

Prayer

Lord, help us to see You in our husband. You built the woman to love, cherish, protect and provide for her, and you do that through her husband. Help us to surrender our pride, jealousy and any resentments we are harboring that prevent us from respecting and loving our husband. As we surrender to your intended order in marriage, rise up and lead in your glory, power and majesty the way you designed it to be. Help us to be the devoted, passionate and faithful bride you created for yourself. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
