Daily Prayer – 1 John 5:4
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Prayer
Thank You, Father, for teaching us not to trust in our feelings, which are fleeting. When the feelings allude us, we must look to the truth, to You–for You are the way, the truth and the life. When we are firm in our faith, we can be firm in our faithfulness to You.
When we feel disconnected or lost, help us to remember to reach out to You–our spirit to your Spirit. You hold us up, sustain us, teach and heal us. Thank You, Lord Jesus. In your Name we pray, amen.
