Daily Prayer – Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Prayer

Father, thank You for gently bringing to the surface those painful experiences in our past so that we have the opportunity to release them into your hands. As we let them go, your Spirit fills the dead space with healing, peace and life. You restore as we release. Everything we have lost–relationships, health, joy, peace, jobs, homes and lands–You are restoring as your Word promises in Joel 2:25.

We praise You, Lord! Help us to release the pain of the past so You can come in and rescue your bride in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
