Daily Prayer – Luke 4:18

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;

Prayer

Lord, thank You for moments of unity and peace. Thank you that the gifts You provide make a way for the new. You have said to remember not the things of old because of the new things you are doing here and now. Help us receive the new, Father. Help us not to get hung up on the old. You make all things new.

As we wait on You, give us the strength and endurance to hang on and lean into You. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
