Daily Prayer – 1 Peter 1:13

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Prayer

Father, help us to move over so You can move in. We wear ourselves out trying to do things for other people, when you’re trying to get in the lead. Our souls know rest and we have new breath and life as we surrender to you and your perfect will. Give us courage, Lord, to let go of the things and people we are so accustomed to taking care of.

You can do it far better than we can. You have healing in your wings. Heal us and our land, Lord. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
