Daily Prayer – Luke 14:11

For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Prayer

Father, help us to be still in our hearts and attitude when we feel the winds of pride and temptation blow through. May your mercy give us the restraint we need to be quiet when we need to be quiet and the wisdom to speak when we need to speak. May our words be eloquent and rich in grace, like yours.

Help us to follow the path You have established for us and the strength and faith to take just one step at a time, trusting You. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
