Daily Prayer – John 1:4-5
In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Prayer
Lord, help us remember that we have no lack in You. Everything we are yearning for, striving for and working toward–the rewards of rest and satisfaction are only in You.
Thank You for teaching us in our difficult moments to relate to others who are also struggling. We are one in You. Thank You for gathering us together in Christ.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil in Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
