Daily Prayer – Psalm 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Prayer

Lord, we recognize that the desires we have–to be heard, seen and understood–are the same desires in your heart. We are a reflection of You. You share your most intimate desires with us, and there are many.

Give us strength to be rooted in Christ as You move through the undesirable to transform us into the righteousness of your Son. There are pockets of evil that must be penetrated and purged by the work of your Spirit.

Have mercy where You will have mercy, Lord. Teach us to be still before You and trust You in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
