For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.
Daily Prayer
Dear Lord, please forgive us for identifying ourselves with what we do, rather than what You did. We are so caught up in the world’s order and operation. We need Your healing grace to come in and save us. We judge ourselves by how others see us instead of standing fast in the truth of Your love and mercy.
Help us to remember the cross and to receive the fullness of Your work. You did it for us. May we no longer terminate the gift of Your healing grace by choosing the world’s ways, but rather take hold of Your mercy in confident faith, believing.
Give us discernment, wisdom and the ability to see You working on our behalf. Give us the strength to follow You, no matter what. In Jesus’s Name we pray, Amen.
